The EPA Solutions website was developed around background imagery supplied by the client. The site uses a mixture of HTML and CSS.
This website, much like EPA Solutions, was completed using HTML and CSS. N.B. The footer of this website says 'designed by helix'. This is true, as helix is me. To prove it, click on the link!
The Garforth Jazz Rock Band website is centered around a content management system. This type of system utilizes content which is stored within a database to populate the pages, while offering a code-free environment for permitted members to update the articles on the website, allowing for the website to be updated by someone with little or no web-development expertise. I have also designed printed art work for the band, and example of which can be seen here.
Primarily owing to the high turn over of news and frequency of updates which the society intend for this website, this site was based around the Joomla Content Management System. Using such a system allows for many people to contribute to the content of the site though posting or updating articles, events or the gallery.
The current Cnics Audio website is the third incarnation which I have designed for them. Here, a content management system is utilized to make the otherwise complex business of having a online hire inventory easy, while also providing a code-free environment from which permitted users can update or modify the website with ease.
GCAS is based at the Garforth Community College, east of Leeds, and is concerned with the provision of community arts projects and teaching. They required a website which could be updated by non-technical staff, and expanded to have sections for each of the projects. There are also features such as a student-only area which is only accessible via a valid password, within which students can obtain extra information and teaching materials. In addition to this website, I have also designed some art work fro print, including these four posers.
