 The Garforth Jazz Rock Band, also known as GJRB, is "one of the busiest, and best youth jazz ensembles in the UK." With such an accolade I was resolute in my efforts to give them a website that lived up to their abilities as a band.The current GJRB website is the third version that I have designed them. "GJRBv3.0" as I have named it is designed to be more flexible and dynamic than any of the previous versions by utilising a piece of software called 'Joomla!' which stores all of the articles and content of the website in such a way that allows for the site to be easily updated and changed with the minimum of fuss. It's friendly interface also allows for more people to become directly involved in contributing to the website - a prospect both GJRB and I are keen to pursue.  The Garforth Community Arts School, or GCAS for short, wanted a website that utilised technology to their best advantage while still remaining user friendly and fun. The website currently utilises 'Joomla!' software to enable a greater amount of involvement, in terms of submitting articles, from GCAS tutors and groups. The site is currently poised for what we hope will be a exponential growth from it's current bare bone state of population to be brimming with information, news, activities and a whole lot more besides!
